A. Rigid Shaft Support Traditionally, plastic chemical pumps either have a single sided shaft support or only use plastic for a double-ended shaft support. The problem with this is that beneath excessive temperature or strain, the shaft support weakens leading to shaft deflection and subsequently vibrations leading increased wear and decreased service life. The AME range features a patented integral V form entrance assist that’s a part of the steel casing armour and then PFA lined. The rear of the shaft is supported in the PFA lined containment shell and strengthened by a metallic support ring and high-strength carbon fibre composite cover. This superior design means an extended design life resulting in far less downtime and increased productiveness.
B. Vacuum Resistant Lining The PFA lining is fashioned immediately onto the metal armour and designed to make sure the PFA material remains adhered to the armour even underneath low absolute stress.
C. Load Balanced Volute The casing volute is designed to have an evenly distributed hydraulic stress, providing a balanced radial loading on the impeller.
D/E. One piece, steel embedded impeller Traditionally, an ETFE or PFA magazine drive pump might be fitted with a separate impeller and inner magnet. G. Reinforced Containment Shell The plastic containment shell is reinforced with a carbon fibre composite cover. There is not any eddy present loss, so no further heating of the pumped chemical.
H. High Strength Magnetic Coupling Inner magnets are constructed from Samarium Cobalt (SmCo) so as to withstand excessive working temperatures without experiencing demagnetization. High power neodymium (NdFeB) is then used for the drive magnet to provide excessive torque transmission.
I. Back Pull-Out Simple and fast maintenance access without the need to take away the pump casing from the piping.
J. ISO Standardised Designed to ISO 2858, ISO 5199, ISO 15783, and EN 809 standards.
