Valmet is adding a new move control solutions service centre in Antofagasta, Chile, expanding its offering to the mining and metals business.
The Antofagasta service centre starts operating this month.

The Valmet portfolio for mining, metals and steel contains the Neles, Jamesbury, Neles Easyflow and Flowrox brands.
Valmet entered into the move management enterprise in April 2022 when the economic flow control company Neles was merged into Valmet.
“Over the years, we’ve systematically expanded our flow control put in base and resolution providing for the mining and metals trade in the area,” says Fabio Maia, head of the South & Central America Area at Valmet’s Flow Control business line. “The new facility permits us to higher reply to the growing demand for buyer assist as well as drive our enlargement in minerals processing. From Antofagasta, our service teams might be close to customer operations in Chile and in Peru.”
