Atlas Copco has agreed to accumulate the German industrial pump producer Pumpenfabrik Wangen GmbH from personal fairness firm Silverfleet Capital.

Headquartered in Wangen within the Allgäu region of Germany, Pumpenfabrik Wangen specialises in progressive cavity pumps used primarily within the biogas and wastewater sectors, and twin-screw pumps for food and beverage and cosmetics functions.
Pumpenfabrik Wangen has manufacturing services in Germany, a US subsidiary and a worldwide sales and service footprint. The company employs 265 folks and had 2020 revenues of roughly €46.four million.

The acquired enterprise will turn out to be a part of the Power and Flow division inside Atlas Copco’s Power Technique Business Area.
The deal is expected to be accomplished during the second quarter of 2022 and is subject to regulatory approvals.
