Brussels, August 8, 2022 – Aliaxis SA, a world leader enabling entry to water and energy by way of fluid management solutions, announces the acquisition of Aquarius Spectrum, a novel provider of superior acoustic water leak detection and pipe situation assessment solutions for water infrastructure. Aquarius Spectrum shall be part of Aliaxis Next, Aliaxis’ newly created division which develops adjacent businesses within the subject of water management and preservation.
The revenues of Aquarius Spectrum are beneath €5 million a year, with a strong growth potential. The monetary details of this settlement won’t be disclosed.
With this acquisition, Aliaxis additional strengthens its options base to tackle the world’s major water-related challenges corresponding to sustainable water management, resilient water infrastructure, access to water, and water for meals. Aquarius Spectrum, an Israel-based expertise company, has developed ground-breaking methods that proactively monitor water distribution networks. Throughout the world, Aquarius Spectrum sells leak detection technology which leverages acoustic sensors and complicated analysis engines to detect water leaks and pinpoint their precise location. To date, Aquarius Spectrum know-how has saved shut to eight billion litres of water, which is the equivalent of three,200 Olympic swimming pools.
